Saeed Iqbal (Chairman & Independent Director)
Entrepreneur and experienced senior executive with a demonstrated history of working in the banking industry. Skilled in Mergers & Acquisitions, Structured Finance, Financial Structuring, Financial Risk, and Risk Management. Strong business development professional with Director certification from Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance.
Mr. Saeed is a Director & Co-founder of d-Resources, a FinTech startup. Prior to this, he was associated with UBL & ANZ Investment Bank in multiple capacities spanning over 24 years such as EVP & Group Head Institutional & Investment Banking & Head Project & Structured Finance.
Mr. Iqbal holds a B.Sc. (Econ) Honors, Analytical & Descriptive Economics from London School of Economics & Political Science.


Shehryar Lodhi (Independent Director)
With decades of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, particularly deep offshore and energy industry reform, Mr. Lodhi has always been fortunate to work with leaders in industry and research. Over the years he has developed a fascination for solving real-world issues using ground-breaking technology.
Also working as VP of marketing and sales of Abyss Solutions, he brings significant global experience in operations, marketing, new technology and general management to the team, and he is dedicated to our mission: Building the intelligence that will drive all unmanned robots of the future.
Before Abyss, he worked for Schlumberger, managing one of their most important markets in Angola, with annual revenue exceeding 1.6 $B and headcount of 2500. Over the 25 years he was with the company, he lived around the globe including Angola, France, Indonesia, Iran, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Syria, UAE, and Yemen.
Mr. Lodhi hold a Bachelor of Science - BS degree from Swarthmore College, Pennsylvania, USA.


Shafaq Fauzil Azim (Independent Director)
A Chartered Accountant by profession, Ms. Shafaq brings with her a vast knowledge and experience of Corporate Governance. Being a Certified Director herself and currently associated with Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance (PICG), she has been a valuable addition to PSF Board. She has completed her Articleship from EY Ford Rhodes and also served as Manager Assurance for more than a decade.
Shafaq Fauzil Azim is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and a member of its Auditing Standards & Ethics Committee.
With over 25 years of experience in corporate governance, audit, quality, and risk management, she currently heads the advisory function at the Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance (PICG) with expertise in board services and performance evaluations and is the Secretary to the Board and to the Audit & HR Committees. She is an IFC trained faculty and content developer for PICG’s flagship Director Training program and customized Director Orientation workshops, etc. and has contributed to several publications of the Institute, including surveys on Corporate Governance, Board Oversight, and ESG Awareness in Pakistan.
Prior to PICG, she worked at EY Pakistan in the Audit & Assurance and Quality & Risk Management Departments, respectively, and served as Chief Internal Auditor at Greenstar Social Marketing Pakistan (Guarantee) Limited.


Asad Ullah Sayeed (Independent Director)
Dr. Asadullah Sayeed is an economist by profession. He is currently Director of Collective for Social Science Research (Pvt) Ltd. in Karachi. He is also a Research Fellow at the Institute of Development and Economic Alternatives (IDEAS), Lahore.
He has been a non-executive Director of Pakistan Paper Products since 2002. He is also on the Board of Management & Enterprises (Pvt) Ltd an associate company. He is on the Board of Advisors at the Foundation Open Society Institute of Pakistan (FOSIP) since 2009 as well. Dr. Sayeed has also served on the Board of Directors of the Hyderabad Electric Supply Corporation (HESCO) from 2011 to 2013.
Dr. Sayeed has a Ph.D and Master's Degree from University of Cambridge, UK and a Bachelor's Degree from Lawrence University, USA.


Zafar Iqbal Sobani (Independent Director)
He brings with him rich experience of forty years in manufacturing, power sector and audit profession in Pakistan and in the Middle East. Currently, he is Board member of Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation(KWSC) , Zephyr Power Limited, AGP Limited, Sindh Economic Zone Management Committee(SEZMC), Public Private Support Fund (PPSF) Sindh Government ,Primus Leasing Limited, Mutual Funds Association of Pakistan (MUFAP)and Trellis Housing.
He has remained Board member of Privatization Commission (Federal Government of Pakistan ) from 2014 till 2023 and was actively involved in various Privatization transactions He has been the President of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) in the year 2004/05 and served actively in council and regional committee in various capacities from 1993 to 2005.
He also remained the first Chairman of Quality Control Board of ICAP from years 2006 to 2014.
He is the Sponsor Director of Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance in year 2004 and holds Certification as a trainer of Corporate Governance by IFC and actively conducting Corporate training programs.
He is associated with few NGO which include Patient Behbud Society of Aga Khan Hospital During his career, He led the power sector of the country as CEOs of Hubco and Liberty Power Tech. Majority of his career was associated with Century Paper & Board Mills Limited, a part of Lakson Group, overseeing various business functions and activities and the Group finance activities. He also worked with House of Habib in the areas of New Project Development and Real Estate Management.
He worked with A.F. Ferguson & Co. (a member firm of PwC) in Pakistan and Ernst and Young, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia between 1977 to 1985.
He was member of the Executive Managing Committee of Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
He holds qualification of Chartered Accountancy and Cost & Management Accountancy.
